We can do it!!

NEWSFLASH!!!

Now I know this is something that all of you want to be in on! Cause of course it is the most important thing to happen all year. Ender has started to walk. It is so cute, and he is sooo proud of himself. He laughs and smiles and claps for himself when he does it.

Okay, so maybe not the most important thing all year, but it has to be close...

The Things kids learn!

She started off so cute and then......
She learned how to pull her diaper down!
Someone needs to tell her parents to get her dressed!!!
AND THE BEST IS......

And We Just thought we would let you know that the IMPOSSIBLE has been done! PIG TAILS!!!

Sure she was asleep and I had a little bit of a struggle but it was done!

I feel so proud as a mom to be able to say I did my daughters hair for the first time since she discovered it was there. She won't ever keep a headband on so lets see how this works out. And yes I know that they look a little crooked and it's not a full tail like some other cousins. But we still love her the same.

"These Boots"

Even when Mckell is sick she demands to be in style. I couldn't help but take a picture. Mckell has been sick with a stomache virus and she had pooped through all her pants but she wanted to wear her boots so badly so she wore them all day with no britches on. And she loved it. She always smiles after I take the picture.

"These Boots were made for walkin', And that's just what they'll do" Da Da Da. You know how the song goes.

Adam's Surgery

For any of you who don't know, Adam had surgery on his left ankle to tighten the tendons so he can run and play without spraining his ankle every day. The surgery went well, and he's been on crutches for the last few weeks, but he's hanging in there. He'll get his right ankle fixed after school's out. Here are some pics, the first one is with the stitches still in, the second one is after the stitches were taken out.

D A N G E R

Those of you not familiar with the Mesquite area, are probably unaware of the dangers that exist for the travelers in April. Many a person, both local and tourist alike, have been caught unawares by the deadly Pillow Slides. Each year the number of casualties grow larger, so we ask both locals and tourists to keep on eye out and to report any avalanches they come across.

Unfortunately for Judge Peacock, he didn't practice his Pillow Slide safety and was buried alive on Wednesday evening. He was found by his parents but they were to late, he had succumbed to the awful weight of the pillows and fallen asleep.
